FKS CoilS Introduces New Gate Drive Transformer for Demanding Battery Management Systems

FKS CoilS, a global supplier of engineered electronics for special applications, today announced the launch of its product MID-GDT Gate Drive Transformers, a family of gate drive transformers for the automotive and industrial markets. These miniature surface mount design (SMD) solutions are ideal for high efficiency battery management system applications where size and reliability are critical.

MID-GDT Gate Drive Transformers are used in space-constrained situations to provide control pulses while isolating MOSFETs and control drive circuitry. Mechanically robust, with lower leakage inductance, significantly improving line efficiency for improved performance.

MID-GDT Gate Drive Transformers are made of toroidal ferrite material with different inductance characteristics to maintain high efficiency without affecting temperature. AEC-Q200 qualification and RoHS compliance meet the performance and reliability requirements demanded by today's automotive applications.
